Seek the Gospel

Seek the Gospel by Joseph Shucraft

Those throughout the land who seek

Diligently the face of God

Are met with a scoff by those who seek him, no

Not by the face or the hem of His garment, pure and white

One can only help but see the vanity in the lowly vices of man

Where we all act big and tall and cast aside the truth

We must come to reconcile the truth for what it is

That is the Gospel of Christ the King crucified

Dead, buried, and risen

By his blood are we reborn

The one death that brought true life
